No matter what structure eventually snakes around in front of it (facing the North side of a revamped Pershing Square), the Subway Terminal Building is incredible. Part of the reason is apparent here, clever, slight changes in set-backs and the carving out of a large balcony on the S. Hill St side of the structure. It will be worthy competition for whatever arrives next.
